JoJo is back with an all-grown-up image and music video to match. The 20 year-old songstress has been busy at work on her comeback album 'Jumping Trains,' her first in six years, and has just dropped the video for her love-gone-wrong lead single 'Disaster.'
The Benny Boom-directed visuals depict the raven-haired beauty singing her heart out, while her motorcycle-riding, bad boy boyfriend smashes glass and yells at her. Eventually JoJo knows what's best for her and decides to say goodbye to the disastrous romance. Good for you, girlfriend!
During a recent interview with AOL Music JoJo shared her inspiration for the deeply-personal new CD: "I feel like more than ever with this album, I'm able to connect with each song and not just sing lyrics, but really feel them. I know that might sound corny, but I feel like it's my responsibility as an artist and a songwriter to be honest in my performance and my delivery. It's something that I take really seriously."
"I think that because I was able to co-write or write virtually every song on this album, I had no choice but to really connect, because it was my truth," the singer-songwriter added.
